About Barbie 

A queer, multidisciplinary hair artist with over ten years experience working in the beauty and entertainment industry. Barbie is skilled in traditional barbering styles and custom hair piece builds. Barbie is prepared to take on any challenge that might be thrown her way. She is constantly looking for that next skill to make her projects that more complete. Barbie loves over the top work, and creating a story through a client's dream hair.

From haircuts to theater and television, she loves to see what a client can come up with. She has experience with all types of people from her neighborhood queer youth to A list celebrities, and loves having each in her chair.

Currently, Barbie is focused on developing skills and a network for continuing queer affirming  hair services especially for nonbinary and gender fluid clients, working on a project focusing on pairing personal artworks with hair interpretation, and complete body hair design.
